Caitlin works with the state and district outreach team to support clients with development and implementation of advocacy and communications. Caitlin is a former elementary special education teacher, having worked in the District of Columbia Public Schools in both inclusion and self-contained classroom settings. She taught students with development disabilities such Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental delays. She also coached middle school basketball and volleyball and was involved in numerous parent and community outreach initiatives. Caitlin is a Teach for America alumna and was an Onboarding and Logistics Facilitator, Corp Member Community Ambassador, and Teacher Transition Leader for the DC regional office. She earned her Master’s in Education with a concentration in Special Education from George Mason University, and was a Park Scholar at North Carolina State University, where she graduated with honors with a degree in Business Administration.
