Jenna Schuette Talbot has a fast-growing reputation as the go-to expert for edtech journalists and entrepreneurs alike. She works frequently with the editors of leading business outlets like Forbes, Fortune and has helped education companies place articles in publications ranging from The New York Times to TechCrunch. She manages the Whiteboard Advisors communications team based in Washington, DC, and Silicon Valley, which develops creative public relations, thought leadership, and digital strategies to amplify important education issues. Jenna also serves as co-producer for the education event “TransformingEDU” at the Consumer Electronics Show and as a judge for the Milken PENN Education Business Plan Competition.
Prior to joining Whiteboard Advisors, she directed external relations for the education policy program at the American Enterprise Institute, where she established the program’s digital marketing and communications strategy. In addition to overseeing the program’s fundraising and budget, Jenna managed media relations and social media outreach, developed digital marketing and communications strategies, and provided editorial support on op‐eds, books, and research publications.
Jenna started her career in education as a research assistant to Frederick M. Hess. She has also taught elementary health education in Cape Town, South Africa. Jenna graduated with a degree in political science and journalism from Azusa Pacific University, where she serves as a founding member of an alumni board focused on improving outcomes for low-income and first generation students.
