eLearning one of the fasting growing industries

The White House Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) and LinkedIn have looked into the fastest growing industries from 2007-2011 and found that eLearning has surged 15.9% - surpassed only by few including renewables (+49.2%), Internet (+24.6%), and online publishing (+24.3%).  Infographic below. 

Interesting analysis of LinkedIn data but I'm curious about the terminology. One of the challenges we have in education is the constant evolution of terms used to desribed ed tech - elearning, digital learning, educational technology, social learning, etc.  However, it seems clear that no matter how you parce the names, there is a huge surge in digital learning technologies fueled by a growing interest from investors.  Great news for the industry.
