Sarah works with educators, entrepreneurs, funders, and advocates to elevate new ideas and models that are transforming American education. At Whiteboard Advisors, Sarah supports the strategic communications team with messaging, research, social media strategy and implementation, media outreach, events, and marketing.
Having worked in education public affairs in Washington, D.C. over the last five years, Sarah has worked with education technology start-ups, higher ed and K-12 accreditation agencies, and non-profit membership organizations. Today, Sarah advises on traditional and digital media campaigns, drafting blogs and marketing collateral, as well as logo development and branding.
Sarah’s experience supporting early-stage organizations began when she first worked with a health IT start-up company in Arlington, VA, managing marketing and external relations. Sarah is a graduate of North Carolina State University, where she earned a B.A. in Communications with a public relations concentration and a Journalism minor.
