Since beginning his career in state and local government, Adam Goldfarb has led strategy projects for a range of education and workforce organizations, including Achieve Partners, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Educators for Excellence, and School Empowerment Network. He served for four years as Chief of Staff of the Connecticut State Department of Education, where he helped lead the crafting and implementation of Governor Dannel Malloy’s 2012 education reform legislation and oversaw the agency’s policy development, communications, intergovernmental and external affairs, and internal reorganization.
Adam previously coordinated the City of Newark, New Jersey’s state and federal policy advocacy as an aide in Mayor Cory Booker’s administration. While in Newark, he co-founded and later led the Board of Trustees of People’s Prep, a college preparatory charter high school. Adam completed his undergraduate, business, and law degrees at Yale University.
