Award-winning executive with deep expertise in K-12 go-to-market strategy, product development, and policy joins Whiteboard Advisors in Menlo Park; Former Senate staffer joins Washington, DC office

Washington, DC – November 20, 2019 – Whiteboard Advisors, an education-focused consulting and communications firm, today announced the addition of Evo Popoff as Senior Vice President. Popoff was named EdTech Policy Maker of the Year by the State Educational Technology Directors Association. He served as Chief Innovation and Intervention Officer for the New Jersey Department of Education. An attorney, Popoff also held senior positions at EdisonLearning, where he oversaw the launch of the company’s education technology solutions and worked closely with states, districts, and schools to implement turnaround, online, and blended learning programs.

Whiteboard Advisors also announced the addition of Jenn Hatfield, who comes to W/A from the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions, where she served as a Research Assistant for both K-12 and higher education policy, and assisted the Committee’s efforts to reauthorize the Higher Education Act. Previously, Hatfield was a research associate in education policy at the American Enterprise Institute.
