Senior Advisor
Jonathan served in the White House as special assistant to the President for economic policy under President Bill Clinton, and worked on Capitol Hill as a legislative aide to Senator John Kerry. He also practiced law as an associate at Covington & Burling, a leading international law firm.
He is currently lecturer at Georgetown University in higher education leadership and ethics.
Jonathan previously held a number of senior executive positions over a 16-year career at Laureate Education, where he he served as President & CEO of Walden University and CEO of the Laureate Online division.
Jonathan graduated cum laude from Harvard College with a BA in government. He received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where he was an editor of the Boston University Law Review.
